"Gergő Papp has been working with Hungary’s Momentum Movement as the party’s political communications specialist. Previously the party’s Communications Director, he now works on national campaigns, with an emphasis on messaging. In 2017, Gergő was an important part of the small communications team of Momentum’s NOlimpia campaign. The campaign organized a petition to force a public referendum on Budapest’s bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics, eventually collecting 266,151 signatures. Soon after, the government cancelled the Olympic bid without a referendum. In Party Party, he mostly writes about campaigns and political communication in the 2020s, and keeps a close eye on the political trends in Europe and the US. "
