Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my reflections on the recent developments in Dutch politics, particularly focusing on the strategic evolution of the VVD party over the past seven years. The transformation of the VVD from its earlier, more openly conservative stance, including positions against gender equality and religious freedoms, to its current image, is a pivotal change worth discussing. It appears that this shift has led to a significant migration of its voter base towards the PVV.
