Politics are a costly affair and fundraising activities can make the difference between success and total frustration. Fundraising is, however, an endeavour full of pitfalls. So let’s plough through the most common mistakes.

1. Starting without a strategy

A concrete strategy helps you achieve your objectives and prioritise those that matter most. Setting reasonable financial goals is the first step in creating a fundraising strategy. Doing so will allow you to track progress and provide motivation.

2. Uncoordinated campaign management
