The worst excuses to not encourage transparency in your party
Trust is the fundament of any representative democratic system. All parties and politicians therefore have a genuine interest in creating and maintaining trust.
This can only be achieved when people are able to anticipate or at least feel how they will act in a given situation. If their actions are not comprehensible and transparent enough, political actors risk losing their credibility, and if worst comes to worst, their electorate and supporter base.
