The release of ChatGPT 3 in November 2022 was the moment when AI technologies crossed the chasm to became popular among the masses. A few months after this, Stable Diffusion and Midjourney were released and the public became more aware of the capabilities of AI tools and the AI buzz took off. These tools were a crucial milestone in AI development because they democratised this new technology. 

In retrospect, ChatGPT has done for AI, what Windows did for personal computers and Google for the Internet: it made the new technologies easy to use for anyone. And just like these inventions, it immediately stoked fear in some and enthusiasm in others. But, whether we like it or not, AI technologies are here. Indeed, the upcoming decade will likely be shaped by AI in many ways. The sooner political parties and their volunteers embrace the technology, the better results you will have.
