PartyParty Attends is our signature series where we immerse ourselves in the political arena’s most dynamic discussions. We bring you the backroom talk from political professionals throughout Europe as if you were sitting in the front row of these events.

At the sun-kissed shores of Malaga last Friday, the annual Congress of the Party of European Socialists (PES) took place in Spain. We had the privilege of attending another European party congress on behalf of PartyParty.

The PES Congress once again proved to be a melting pot of political heavyweights, thought leaders, and passionate individuals coordinating ahead of the European elections in a year where national elections showed a shift from a social to an even more centrist-conservative electorate.

Yet, in a time when political landscapes are ever-changing, the value of attending this congress to connect with political insiders from the Social family cannot be overstated. For PartyParty, participation in the PES Congress was more than just a networking opportunity; it was a strategic move to stay closely with political actors and share with you best practices and lessons from the field.
