But what’s more interesting is that young, ambitious Gen Z politicians and party operatives are reshaping politics as well, from the inside. And we should let them! Gen Z voters can decide an election outcomes, if they are engaged enough. That means political parties and candidates need young politicians, advisors, and team members to reach the Gen Z demographic efficiently and effectively. Let them manage the newest social media channels

This one should go without saying, but parties are often reluctant to give full control of their social media channels — e.g. TikTok — to professionally inexperienced youngsters. But the fact is that these communication channels have a young user base who prefer raw honesty to perfectly curated marketing campaigns. As well, young staffers are much more likely to be familiar with online trends and internet culture. They can use this knowledge to successfully engage a Gen Z audience.
