You work in politics, so you know it is nearly impossible to switch off completely. You go to bed while scrolling through outrage-inducing Twitter threads, check your newsletters on the weekends, and, even on vacation, you read your saved articles and books that are at least partly about politics.
Well, it only gets harder if you become a parent. You want the best for your child, and that best almost always includes teaching them about responsibility on issues like the environment, ever-growing inequality, and the acceptance of others. In one words, you want to teach them political responsibility. It can get messy — so let me help you with three things, I believe, you can teach them.
